This Device Instantly Tells You What’s Wrong With Your Car

Nothing ruins a day quite like having your car suddenly break down.

But what makes the situation worse is getting scammed by a mechanic pretending to fix your vehicle.

While there are many reputable mechanics doing quality work at a fair price, it’s tough to find them. And if you don’t know anything about cars, you could easily fall victim to a car repair scam.

And that’s why we invented FIXD! Our smart car sensor takes the stress out of the check engine light and tells you exactly what’s wrong with your vehicle in plain English.

It even gives you an estimate of the repair cost, so you are informed before taking your car to the shop.

Meet FIXD

FIXD is a tiny wireless car sensor that turns your car into a smart vehicle by sending diagnostic information straight to your phone. This easy-to-use device can identify information ranging from when you need to take your car in for maintenance to why that check engine light just came on.

How does FIXD work?

The FIXD sensor plugs into an OBD-II port in your car. If you’re driving a car built in 1996 or later, your car will have one. It’s usually located under the dashboard on the driver’s side. Once you plug in the sensor, it’s powered by your car. The only thing left to do is launch the app and connect the FIXD sensor to the app via Bluetooth. Once they’re connected, you’ll be able to scan your car.

Step 1

Plug FIXD into your car’s OBD-II port

Step 2

Launch the FIXD app on your smartphone

Step 3

Press the scan button and diagnose your car’s health

What does FIXD do?

FIXD identifies all 7000 codes that can cause the check engine light to turn on and translates those codes into plain English. What makes FIXD unique is that it provides you all the information you need before taking the car to the repair shop by telling you the severity of the issue and an estimate of the repair cost. This means you avoid common car scams and save money on car repairs.

Additionally, FIXD can keep track of your car’s maintenance schedule. You’ll get automatic maintenance alerts for oil changes, tire rotations, and more sent straight to your phone! FIXD also monitors your mileage, so you know what and when you need to get something done.

Plugged this in, ran the diagnostics and it told me exactly what was wrong with my vehicle. There were so many things messed up I ended up taking it to a repairman. I didn’t say anything about the Fixd reading, and when his tests were done, the readings were nearly identical. It was nice knowing that I had an honest repairman and that Fixd actually worked!

My GMC Sierra was running rough, lurching and stalling. 2 separate mechanics told me it sounded like it was an intake manifold gasket requiring a costly tear-down to repair. No mechanic really wanted to do it! I bought this device and hooked it up to the GMC. The FIXD unit told me there was a problem with the mass air-flow sensor. The app gave me a repair estimate of $90-$240, so I dropped my car off, telling the mechanic exactly what the problem was. Next day it was done! The mechanic told me the mass air-flow sensor didn’t need replacement, just a proper cleaning. I paid an honest $95, including labor. Thanks so much for a great product!

Six months ago, I paid about $1400 on a car repair when the dreaded engine light came up. This time, I got an estimate of another $900. So, I decided to buy FIXD to gain a little knowledge about the condition of the vehicle and to find out if the mechanic was being fair. FIXD gave me about 8 errors, but fortunately, it came down to two parts that were sending the wrong signal to the valves. The parts cost was $160, and the labor was not that challenging. Now, the problem is gone. Total, including FIXD, $220, a far cry from the $900 the shop wanted to charge. 5 stars!

Shipping was quite slow, but Fixd identified why the check engine light came on in a couple seconds! I ordered the part in the morning, it got delivered the next morning, and in the afternoon my car was fixed! The price of the Fixd and the part was probably less than the diagnostic fee my mechanic would have charged. One of the best purchases I’ve made!

This gadget is great. It will tell you what is wrong when the engine light pops up. It will show you on your phone an estimated cost of repairs, so you know if a mechanic is trying to rip you off. My mechanic is honest, thank goodness. This is worth the money.

Only took a couple minutes to locate the OBD II port, set up the app on my phone, and run the diagnostics. Thankfully, it found no issues. FEELS GOOD to have some preventative tool monitoring my car and keeping track of maintenance stuff like oil changes and tire rotations.

If you don’t want to get ripped off by a mechanic...get one of these. Tells you the problem and the repair cost. It’s good to be in the know before you take your car to the shop.

Using FIXD, I was able to get the error code and see how serious the issue was. It allowed me to drive another 2 days and then get the car into the shop for repairs. Our long-time mechanic said FIXD was spot on in detecting the problem. It already saved me the cost of the purchase by allowing me to get in needed appointments, get the car into the shop when it fit my schedule, and not have to rent a car.
